Janet Dougherty - Director of NUAZ

Janet Dougherty is a registered Nurse and Midwife with business qualifications and expertise in the field of Medical business. Her work experience includes working with Air Ambulance in NSW Australia, nursing in the East Sepik Province of Papua New Guinea, pharmaceutical and OTC product research in Malaysia and Thailand, successfully establishing an Australian medical business unit in NZ, facilitating healthcare and support services for the people of American Samoa in NZ. Her travels have included visits to various sectors of S.E Asia, India, and a small section of the Middle East.

It is Janet's personal interest that all people have access to high quality healthcare and recovery services at affordable prices. That people have an informed choice about their own health and vitality through education about themselves, their body, diet and exercise.

Janet  also designs  office furniture and accessories to prevent RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury). She has on occassions  guest lectured at Universities and professionally consults to businesses  providing a practical approach to prevention of RSI in the office setting, with the focus being on individuals taking personal responsibility for their own work environment

Another  interest and passion is her involvement with Inventors Trust, to have the work of inventors and innovators recognised, protected and out in the market place.
